A Bit Of History On Billy Bones

Back about 20 plus years ago a man named David Schwarz started a tackle Shop called Dave's Pier One in Stuart, Dave later moved the Shop to Port St. Lucie and was in the very same plaza we are located today. Dave is besides being a very nice Person and today 85 Years young an Expert Reel Repair Man . Dave still does our Rod and Reel repairs at Billy Bones Bait n Tackle and we are REELY CHEAP on Our Repairs today. Dave Sold the Shop to Bill Davis back in 1998 and Bill Named it Billy Bones Bait n Tackle . I wonder was it named after Billy or .....Was it named for the Vicious Pirates that stormed the Treasure Coast. There are many Shipwreaks and Pirate stories that are still heard Today . GOLD ER Matey and Lots of it is still out there and the Bones Er Billy Bones Treasure is awaiting some to find er !!.

   I am CapT Bruce Hrobak the Owner of Billy Bones today. I am not new to the Bait n Tackle business. I Started a Bait and tackle shop in the Northeast called Jersey Coast Bait n Tackle and it is still there today with its new owner Tom Wolfe doing a fine job "Wit Er" I Might Say !! I have been a USCG 100 ton Master Licensed Charted Boat Captain for almost 18 years and have Chartered many Fisherman to thier first Trophy . Before Purchasing Billy Bones I did alot of Fishing Homework and learned alot from some really good Fisherman here in Florida,Like a Good Friend John "PSL Snookman" and learned alot on my own before I could sell Bait or give someone advice I wanted to be " The Right Guy" I am now in Florida my Family calls it Home. I am at Billy Bones Bait n Tackle to service our Customers. And get the best baits I can get and be competative as well we always have some REELY Good Deals at Billy Bones Bait N Tackle . And I do have a saying " HOOK UP WITH US WE FISH " Stop by Us and say Hello we not only sell Fishing Tackle but our apparel is know "Worldwide" with its custom design by my Friend " Mighty Mike" of Mighty Mikes Tattoo's. ER we also got them there thingys by White Metal Detectors to help yah Find the Gold a Land Lubers Special!! I also have a Saying at Billy Bones " If its not in Stock We Can Get it" most times in a few Days.
